  I was Blown Away At The Customer Service!

So first of all I rarely write a review. Having said that I couldn't wait because they were soo darn amazing for movers. I was blown away at the Customer Service, professionalism, and the work ethic. Due to job transfers and other situations we have moved 7 tiimes in the last 12 years. From San Ramon to Pleasant Hill, to Lafayette, to Roseville, North Shore Tahoe, back to Pleasant Hill and now Walnut Creek. By far the BEST Movers ever. No 2nd place.. Just a Great crew!! My wife and I tipped $100 and felt bad because each of the 5 guys deserved $100. I would Guarantee this Company. They are the Nordstroms or Wells Fargo in the moving industry. I can't comprehend anyone being disappointed in their service. I could go on and on but I'll just end with this word that describes "Thifty Moving" PHENOMINAL ,

BTW- when I was calling around for Quotes. They were the only company that picked up the phone. All the other I had to leave a message and got calls back like 1-2 days later.

  These Guys Were Amazing!!!!

After finding that friends were not available to help me move, I started search the web for help. I checked out handful of movers and decided on Thrifty Moving. Made the call for a quote and booked them on the spot. They had the date I needed and the quote included wardrobe boxes and shrink wrapping in the pricing. Also they were super nice and helpful on the phone.
  The guys showed up promptly on time, 9:00 am on Saturday morning.
  They placed down protection in the entryway to protect the floor and got right to work. Amazing to watch these guys work they huffed and puffed for a solid 3 hours loading the truck. These guys worked non-stop.  They took very good care of our stuff, and they wrapped all our furniture in moving blankets to keep them safe.
  We headed to my new place where they once again got down to business. The total move took about six hours and last time when I had my friends move me it took 2 days! The move was worth every dime because these guys were amazing. I'm not planning to move for a long time however when I do I"ll be calling these guys again.

California Moving And Storage Orinda

Some Orinda History

Present-day Orinda was located within four Mexican land grants. The area was originally rural, mainly known for ranching and summer cabins. In the late 19th century, the land was named by Alice Marsh Cameron, probably in honor of the poet  who was also known as the "Matchless Orinda".

In the 1880s, the United States Surveyor General for California built an estate which he named Orinda Park. The Orinda Park post office opened in 1888. The post office's name was changed to Orinda in 1895. Orinda was also the site of Bryant Station, a stop on the failed  California and Nevada railroad around the turn of the 20th century. In later times, the area around Bryant Station was known as Orinda Crossroads.

Orinda's popularity as a year-round residence grew after the 1937 completion of the Caldecott tunnel which provided easier access to the west. Bisected by California State route 24 and framed by its rolling oak covered hills, the city of Orinda was incorporated on July 1, 1985. Its first mayor was Richard G. Heggie.
